  • Alzheimer’s Association Caregivers Support Group

    1st Thursday Evenings at 7:00 p.m. – Conference Room

    This group is a structured gathering of caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia who meet to develop a mutual support system that will help maintain the health and well-being of its members.

    Mondays from 6:30-8:45 p.m. – CrownPoint (Enter Door B)

    DivorceCare is a group who meets for 13 weeks, twice per year. Their goal is to help you find help for your hurts, discover hope for the future and experience God’s healing.

  • Caring Crafters

    Meeting Times/Dates Vary

    This group of women gather to work on projects for nursing homes, Belize mission, , Comfort Dogs Ministry, Walter Lawson Home, etc. – wherever there is a need. No sewing skills are need.

  • Lutheran Early Response Team (LERT)

    Meet As Needed – Training Required

    These volunteers respond to disaster situations, working on-the-scene (often with building and chainsaw services). Volunteers must complete federally required training and credentialing through Lutheran Church Charities, meeting FEMA guidelines focusing on the safety, work, and ministry of early responders.

    These volunteers deliver meals to homebound citizens of Belvidere for Lifescape through the Boone County Council on Aging.

    Meals made and delivered to celebrate with those welcoming a new baby, support those suffering from recent hospitalization/illness, and mourn with those mourning a death.
