About
Aaron was born and raised in Rockford and graduated from Rockford Lutheran High School before completing his Bachelors from Concordia Nebraska and Masters in Church Music from Notre Dame. All three schools provided him the opportunity to participate in leading worship on piano, organ, guitar, through choirs and praise bands, and in church, chapel, and student-led praise service settings. He has been working at Immanuel since 2014 and loves leading music for worship in all its various forms, as well as creating opportunities for other musicians to join in leading the people of Immanuel to praise God through song. Aaron has been a runner for most of his life and enjoys coaching cross country and track at Rockford Lutheran, and has followed the Chicago Cubs through the good, the bad, and the ugly of the last 30 years. He is thankful for his wife Sarah and his three kids, Michaela, Emily, and Caleb, and has joined most of his fellow Millennial parents in slowly starting to appreciate Bluey but avoiding Paw Patrol like the plague.
